Lamborghini has managed to achieve yet another milestone. The Italian luxury and supercar manufacturer has now rolled out a total of 8,000 units of the Huracan series. This milestone has been achieved in just three years since the supercar first debuted in 2014.

The time frame needed by the Lamborghini Huracan is considered by a quick one as its predecessor, the Gallardo, took around ten years to roll out a total of 14,022 units all around the world. Of course, the Huracan is well on the track to beat that record in far lesser time.

The Lamborghini Huracan comes with a powerful, naturally aspirated, 5.2-litre V10 engine which is capable of making a maximum power of 580 bhp and a peak torque of 540 Nm. This, however, depends on the variant chosen. The AWD Huracan Spyder has an engine which is capable of making a maximum power of 610 bhp and a highest torque of 560 Nm. The top end model, with the most powerful engine, can hit an acceleration of 0-100 kms per hour in just 2.9 seconds.

Presently, the Lamborghini Huracan is offered in many different versions like a coupe with AWD (all wheel drive) and RWD (rear wheel drive), the Spyder with AWD and RWD, the limited edition Avio and the most powerful Performante version. All of the six variants are presently on sale in India as well.

The Performante version of the Lamborghini Huracan has the same 5.2-litre engine but can make the highest power of 640 bhp and the maximum torque of 600 Nm. It is presently retailed at an exclusive showroom price of Rs. 3.97 lakhs in Delhi.

The 8,000th unit of the Lamborghini Huracan is a Spyder variant and has been produced at the Sant’Agata Bolognese plant of the company. It will be delivered to a customer living in the United Kingdom.
