The Honda CB Shine has always been the countries best selling 125cc motorcycle by a fair margin. Known for its reliability and comfort, the Shine has found favour among the Indian masses since it was launched all those years ago.
Today, Honda has gone ahead with its promise of bringing 15 new models (including updates to current ones) to the Indian motorcycle market and the 2016 CB Shine has become the 15th new launch from Honda this year.
Coming in with a sleek 5 -Speed gear system, a Digital Analog meter console and the acclaimed Honda Eco Technology (HET) and an advanced Honda Combi Brake system, the 2016 CB Shine has been priced at INR 59,900 for the base Self-Drum-Alloy variant while the up spec, Self-Alloy-Disk variant with CBS has been priced at INR 64,400., both prices being Ex-Showroom Delhi
The upgrades on the CB Shine for model year 2016 consists of the following - Tubeless tyres, new set of 'Stylish Graphics', chrome finished muffler cover, among others discussed above. As per Honda the new 3D emblem on the tank gives the rider seeking style a sense of premium-ness, while the side covers are now dual tone to provide the 2016 CB Shine a sportier up market feel. Also. Honda is quoting that the CB Shine is the most powerful bike in its segment with power output of 10.37bhp@7500rpm and the torque peaks at 10.3 Nm@6500rpm while giving a claimed fuel efficiency of 65 kmpl.
The bike will be available in five colours namely - Geny Grey Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White and Rebel red Metallic.
