Lewis Hamilton is riding high on success these days, and why he shouldn't be? While he won the 2014 F1 world championship, making him a two time world champion, he is already leading with good margin in the 2015 season. With a knack to keep himself in the news, the Briton has recently bought himself a McLaren P1 painted in a striking blue shade.
The one-off McLaren P1 is laced in a ravishing shade of blue, while on the inside, the supercar gets a black and blue theme. The dashboard is done with blue Alcantara while naked carbon fibre accents make the cabin a desirable place to sit. The P1, which was presented to Hamilton during Top Marques 2015 in his home country Monaco, will share the garage with a Pagani Zonda 760LH.
The McLaren P1 is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that is sourced from the 12C and an electric motor. While the twin turbo boosted engine produces 727bhp and 719 Nm of torque, the electric motor generates 176bhp and 260 Nm. That gives a combined output of 903bhp and 978 Nm of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission by Graziano will power the rear wheels.
Lewis Hamilton used to race for the McLaren F1 team before joining the team Mercedes, and it is evident that he is still smitten by the McLaren's rides!
