It seems like number 4 is the new favourite for the reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton. After taking his fourth pole in Montreal, Canada during qualifying session, which happened to be his 44th pole overall, he took the fourth victory on the same circuit. Speaking of which, this is the fourth victory for the Briton this season driving car number 44.

Hamilton never lost the lead as Rosberg was closely following him throughout the 70 laps. With a cat and mouse like chase situation throughout, Hamilton eventually took a lead of 2.2 seconds to finish the race ahead of teammate Rosberg. The Finnish Valtteri Bottas, driving his Williams finished on third spot completing the podium.

Lewis Hamilton in the post race conference said, "I love Montreal. I love this track; I love the city and really just a fantastic weekend and great to get back on the top step. For me personally and I’m sure I’m speak for the team, I want to dedicate this to my engineer Bonno’s [Pete Bonnington’s] father, who I know it’s been a tough weekend for him but he has been amazing all weekend and he helped me win this today and this is really dedicated to him."

Kimi Raikkonen, the other Finnish with a spin on the 27th lap lost to the podium and finished fourth driving his Ferrari. Sebastian Vettel, driving his Ferrari started from the 18th spot on the grid and finished fifth, while Felipe Massa finished sixth in his Williams, while he started from 15th. Pastor Maldonado opened his 2015 tally with a seventh spot while his teammate in Lotus, Romain Grosjean finished 10th.

Nico Hulkenberg had a minor brush with Vettel in his Force India car and he eventually finished eighth ahead of Daiil Kvyat of Red Bull, who finished ninth. Lewis Hamilton now stands at the Numero Uno spot with 151 points, 17 ahead of Rosberg's 134, while Vettel is on third with 108 points. On the constructor's table, Mercedes is far ahead with 285 points, followed by Ferrari with 180 points.
