The Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic cars, and there is no denying the fact that it is the original Supercar of the world. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Porsche Club of America, the German sports car maker has revealed a 60 unit limited GTS Club Coupe. While 59 units are up for grab, the 60th and last unit will be given to one of the club members as a prize. The 911 GTS will be priced at approximately $138,000.
The Porsche 911 is a good looking car, but the Porsche 911 GTS Club Coupe is something extraordinary. It features a SportDesign side mirrors, black framed Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche’s Dynamic Light System, and taillights tinted in black. The door sills are stainless steel and reads “GTS Club Coupe”. 20-inch Sport Classic wheels painted in semi-gloss black with polished wheel centers and rim flanges are also standard on the GTS Club Coupe.
While the exteriors make you go crazy, it is the interiors which are more highlighted by the GTS designing. The package includes stitching, seat belts, and rev counter done in Carmine Red, while the dashboard trim strips, door trim and center console are finished in carbon fiber. The center compartment is embossed with a “60” and the dashboard trim is personalized with “GTS Club Coupe 60 Years Porsche Club of America".
The limited edition 911 will be powered by an enhanced version of the Carrera S engine. The 430 hp unit will be able to push the car from 0-100 kmph in less than 3.8 seconds with a top speed in excess of 300 kmph. The power is sent to the rear wheels through an optional PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung) dual-clutch seven-speed transmission. To make the performance consistent, a third center radiator will be mounted.
