Maestro Edge becomes Hero MotoCorp's top selling scooter

Maestro Edge has become the top selling scooter for Hero Motorcorp. and has acquired the over-all second position for the most selling scooter in India after Honda Activa. Both the Maestro Edge and Maestro are very differently styled. The costlier Maestro Edge has been styled more aggressively and comes with sharp design lines. It propels 110.9cc Air-cooled, 4-Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine that delivers 8.31bhp of max power at 8000rpm and 8.30Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The suspension duties on Maestro Edge is performed by Telescopic, Hydraulic Shock Absorbers at the front and Unit Swing with Spring Loaded Hydraulic Damper at the rear.

It is offered with alloy wheels which are shod to 90/90 tyre at the front and 90/100 tyre on rear. Weighing around 110kg (kerb), makes the Maestro Edge a light and easy handler.  It is offered in wide range of colour options including techno blue, shooting night star. Matte blue, matte vernier grey, panther black, candy blazing red and pearl silver white. Among all matte blue is the colour most of the buyers are opting for. It currently retails at INR 50,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and despite being more expensive than the Hero Duet, it has topped the charts in terms of sales. Both the Hero Maestro Edge and the Maestro has collectively crossed sales mark of 66,000 units for the October 2015.
