Mahindra’s 125cc scooter Duro DZ which was removed and assumed discontinued from Mahindra’s line-up has now made it back on the official webpage of Mahindra Two Wheelers. The Scooter received a new decal treatment with stripes running across the body longitudinally. As the website indicates, Duro hasn’t gone through any of the major change (apart from the visuals). It utilizes the same 124.6 cc 4-stroke engine that delivers 8.04bhp at 7000rpm and 9Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm.
As the website suggests, the scooter is priced at INR 46,030 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and is available in four colors including Derby Red, Bolt Black, white and Magenta. Duro rolls on 8.89 cm (3.5”) tire up front and 25.4 cm (10") at the rear. It utilizes hydraulic suspensions at the rear and telescopic at the front. It weighs about 114kgs and comes with a decent ground clearance of 155mm that is quite useful on tall breakers on Indian roads.
It can accommodate 6.5 litres of fuel at once and it’s under seat storage capacity is 20litres. Its locks horns with Suzuki Swish 125, Honda Activa 125 and yamaha Fascino 125. What do you think about the Duro DZ? Share your views in the comment section below.
