The electric car Mahindra e2o was launched in Nepal. After receiving considerable response for its G-wiz model now Mahindra Reva with its efforts to develop a car, with minimal production cost and increased reliability has come up with Mahindra e2o. The ‘e’ alphabet on the car logo e2o represents energy and ‘o’ symbolizes oxygen, the 2 number included in-between ‘e’ and ‘o’ abbreviates the quote clean energy to have a better life. This eco-friendly car will be officially distributed by the retail company Agni Energy in Nepal. The car is now available in the showrooms of Kathmandu. This vehicle will serve as an alternative to diesel and petrol burning cars. This car is launched as an urban mobility vehicle, completely programmed, with a quick acceleration feature called boost mode. Mahindra e2o belonging to zero emission family, will help in curbing down pollution, smoke related health problems, climate change and will cope up with the increasing fuel prices.

The car is powered by the three phase induction motor that produces a power of 25.4 bhp at a Torque of 53Nm. The car uses a battery called 48 Li-ion which requires zero maintenance and it comes with automatic transmission. The recharging of battery can be done through a plug point of 15amps and also through solar energy as it includes Sun2car charging option. The e2o can attain a top speed of 81km/hour and can travel a distance of 100km when fully charged. The car comes along with the features like remote AC operations, regenerative braking, arms systems and access to Reva app store for entertainment. It has a seating capacity of four passengers and seats can be folded. This car is a symbol of sustainable technology minus the environmental damage.
