Mahindra Great Escape 132nd edition concludes in Lonavala

Mahindra and Mahindra successfully concluded the 132nd edition of its most popular off-roading adventures, titled as ‘Great Escape’ in Lonavala, conducted in association with Valvoline. The event witnessed more than 70 four-wheel drive and also saw Mahindra customers from Lonavala, Mumbai, Pune and neighbouring areas. Participants compete with the entire product of Mahindra vehicles that includes the Bolero, Scorpio, Thar 4x4.

The location in Lonavala offered a picturesque setting, wrapped in a blanket of green with rolling hills. It was located  close to both Mumbai and Pune that gave the enthusiasts the perfect opportunity to tackle the challenging route. The rally started from 19 Degree North at Lonavala where the participants could wade through its scenic terrain.

In this year’s event, the competitors got  a chance to demonstrate their off-road driving skills through different stages of obstacles such as The Crab, The Quarry, The Hill Climb and Rocky Drop that included off-roading through the river bed, making trails over rock boulders and manoeuvring their way out of slush pits.

Ladies Category-

Winner- Maithili K. S. Bhobe

The winners from Lonavala Great Escape will soon join winners from the other upcoming Great Escapes like Sakleshpur, Hyderabad, Goa, Vagamon, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Chennai, Chandigarh and Shillong to compete against each other for the trophy at the finals.
