Mahindra KUV100 NXT Launched at Rs. 4.39 Lakhs

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the KUV100 NXT at a starting price of Rs. 4.39 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The facelifted version of Mahindra's micro-SUV comes in both petrol and diesel fuel trims in five grades: K2, K2+, K4+, K6+ and K8. The company announced that this pricing is introductory for first three months, while the AMT variants would launch next year. The Mahindra KUV100 NXT comes with a plethora of cosmetic updates both outside and inside the cabin, while there are a few mechanical updates as well.

As for the cosmetic upgrades, the KUV100 NXT flaunts new front grille design and refreshed bumper. The headlamps have been tweaked too to provide a sporty appearance. The micro-SUV rides on 15-inch alloy wheels, which have been coated with black and chrome finish. As for the rear profile, the tail-lamp cluster features new design and comes with chrome bezel. The company has even updated the wipers as well. As for the cabin, it features a flowing dash design layout with an an easy-read instrument cluster with DIS and gearshift indicator. A new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Audio & Navigation support debuts with the KUV100 NXT. The range-topping variants feature an all-black interior cabin unlike the base and mid variants which feature grey interior upholstery.

The safety features includes dual front airbags, corner braking control and ABS with EBD. Mechanically, Mahindra KUV100 NXT is available with the same set of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol variants get their power from the 1.2L 3-cylinder mFalcon G80 engine which develops top power of 82bhp and peak torque of 115Nm, while mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the diesel variants are powered by a 1.2L 3-cylinder CRDi mFalcon D75 engine which generates maximum power output of 77bhp and highest torque performance of 190Nm. It is also paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox as the petrol counterparts. The Mahindra KUV100 NXT would take on the likes of Maruti Ignis, Hyundai Grand i10 and Ford Figo in the Indian market.
