Mahindra Two Wheelers has introduced a new Ocean Blue colour option to its Mojo XT300 tourer bike range. The new dual colour option, called Ocean Blue features a combination of White and Blue. Interestingly, the Mahindra Mojo XT300 price receives no change with the addition of this new colour. That said, the model can be had for Rs 1.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Sitting at the top of the Mahindra Mojo range, the XT300 is also available with Volcano Red colour scheme which comes in red and silver combination. For those not in the know, Mahindra has removed the black colour option from the official website, which will be available on order according to media reports.
Mechanically, the Mahindra Mojo derives power from the 292cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that belts out maximum power of 27bhp at 8000rpm along with peak torque of 30Nm at 5,500rpm. Transmission duties on the motorcycle are handled by a six-speed constant mesh gearbox.
On the feature front, the bike gets USD shock absorbers, Pirelli Rosso Diablo tires, twin exhausts and LED daytime running lights. Mahindra launched a low-cost version of the bike earlier this year in March under the Mojo UT300 nameplate. To cut down on price, the bike comes bereft of the above features. Priced at Rs 1.49 lakh, (ex-showroom, Delhi), Mojo UT300 is available in Volcano Red and Ocean Blue monotone colours. It additionally features conventional telescopic forks and MRF tires, semi-digital instrument console and 21-litre fuel tank (in the lower variant).
Proportionally, Mahindra Mojo measures 2,100mm long, 800mm wide and 1,165.5mm high. It sits on a wheelbase of 1,465mm and the seat is set at a height of 814.5mm with a ground clearance of 173.5mm. In the segment, Mahindra Mojo competes with models including Honda CBR 250R and KTM Duke Twins among others.
