It is ironical how among all the huge behemoths like the Bajaj Auto, Hero Motocorp and TVS Motors, it is a comparatively smaller and newer Mahindra2Wheelers that has been collecting records and accolades through their racing efforts in the International arena. From 125GP to Moto3 wherever Mahindra has entered, it has earned impeccable respect from the paddock and the rivals for its highly capable racing motorcycles. Mahindra is indeed making the country stand proud in the international motorcycle racing arena.
Continuing it further, in an announcement Mahindra2Wheelers has said that its Mahindra Peugeot Racing motorcycles, MGP30, dominated opening round of the Italian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (CIV 2015 Moto3) last weekend , where it won both races at the Misano circuit in Italy. The Mahindra Peugeot team rider Marco Bezzecchi, with Race Number #12, riding the MGP3O motorcycle for team Minimoto Portomaggiore, claimed the top step of the podium in both races of the opening round.
Marco was joined by his team-mate Fabio Spiranelli, Race Number #3 in the first race, he was also riding the same the MGP3O. We would like to remind you that Mahindra were the constructor champions for two consecutive years – in 2012 (125GP class) and in 2013 (in the Moto3 class) in the CIV.
