The newly launched Mahindra Scorpio is making a lot of noise in the automotive market with all those tacky design changes and the revamped interiors. Although the old Scorpio was successful enough to create the image as a buff and masculine SUV, it needed a makeover desperately in the growing segment of SUV's with new launches and technologies coming every now and then.
Mahindra revealed the prices of the new Scorpio along with variants few days back and today they revealed the official brochure for the accessory package available for both exteriors and interiors. Mahindra is looking forward to the festive season for increase in sales and wants to regain the image of the original Indian SUV.
The list of the exterior accessories will contain all the stuff to make the new Scorpio more beefy starting from the usual front and rear bumper guards, rally type fog-lamps (to be mounted on the front bumper guard), alloy wheel in two specs (15 and 17 inches), ski rack, illuminated scuff plates and a body colored rear spoiler with brake lights. The other offerings will include the chrome package which includes grille inserts, bonnet scoop, fog-lamp enclosures, door handles, D-Pillar air airflow vents, wing mirror housing, rear registration plate applique and rear bumper reflectors.
As for the interiors, the accessory package will include a range of dual-tone art leather seat covers, floor mats, in-car inverter, a cooled storage compartment, mobile charge, coat hanger, car cushions, 7-inch and 9-inch headrest mountable monitors, central woofer system, head up display and a DVD player. Apart from the exterior and interior accessories, the Scorpio will also get various sensors for parking including a camera with display.
