Mahindra Scorpio Facelift Launched at Rs. 9.97 Lakhs

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the Scoprio facelift at an introductory price of Rs. 9.97 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. It will be available in multiple seating configurations - 7, 8 and 9 seater options. Mahindra Scorpio facelift would will be available at Mahindra dealerships starting November 14, 2017 in six variants: S3 (75 bhp), S5, S7 (120 bhp), S7 (140 bhp), S11 (140 bhp) and S11 (140 bhp with 4WD). The new SUV comes with higher power and torque, new 6-speed transmission, enhanced performance, imposing styling and luxurious comfort.

Mahindra Scorpio facelift would be offered in five attractive colour options, namely, new Pearl White (Only in S11), Diamond White (Except S11), Napoli Black, D Sat Silver and Molten Red. As for the cosmetic updates, the facelifted SUV flaunts new front grille with chrome inserts and restyled fog lamps with a chrome bezel. It also gets chrome highlights in the headlamps, while there is a new upper and lower grille mesh design. As for the side profile, it boasts of redesigned ORVMs with integrated side turn indicators, while riding on new alloy wheels. Coming to the rear end, it has a new tail-lamp cluster with redesigned footstep on the rear bumper. In addition, there are tweaks to the tailgate in form of new skid plate, chrome applique and an aeroblade wiper.

The cabin gets new plush faux leather seats with faux leather wrapped steering wheel and gear lever. In addition, there is a roof mounted sunglass holder and mobile holder spot. Mahindra Scorpio facelift comes with a plethora of exquisite features in form of reverse parking camera with dynamic assist, 1-touch lane change indicator, auto window roll-up, projector headlamps with static bending technology, 6-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Bluetooth/ CD/ DVD/ USB/ Aux and GPS, fully automatic temperature control, Steering mounted audio controls, cruise control, Shift-on- the-fly 4WD system, Rain & light sensors, Voice assist system, Intellipark etc. to name a few. 

As for the safety of the occupants, it comes loaded with latest generation braking system with 9.1 Bosch ABS. Other safety features include dual front airbags, collapsible steering column & side intrusion beams, panic brake indication, engine immobilizer, Seat belt reminder lamp, Speed alert and Auto door lock while driving. Under the hood, the new Scorpio is powered by the 2.2L mHawk diesel engine which delivers highest power of 140 bhp and top torque of 320 Nm. The engine is linked to an all-new easy shift 6-Speed manual transmission. The base variant retains the 75 bhp m2DICR engine. The Scorpio would take on the likes of Tata Safari Storme, Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster.
