Mahindra sells 131% more two-wheelers this May

Snapshot: The company sold 15,878 units in May 2014 which is 131% more than what it sold in May last year

Mahindra Two Wheelers yesterday reported an impressive 131% increase in its sales figures in May 2014 over May 2013. The company had sold 6,858 units last year whereas this year, it sold 15,878 units. Speaking on the monthly sales figures, company's Chief of Operations, Viren Popli said, "We are happy to maintain the demand momentum of our two-wheeler division during May 2014 with a growth of 131 per cent in the domestic market, which is indicative of the growing acceptance of our product especially our flagship brand, the Centuro." 

"With a positive upsurge in the socio-economic sentiments and on the back of improved demand, we hope to remain on the growth trajectory going ahead," he added.
