Mahindra introduced the new Gusto 125 sometime back and we got to ride right after it was unveiled. According to the earlier reports, Mahindra was planning to launch it at the AutoExpo 2016. Since the same didn’t happened so the company is reportedly making plans to launch the same in a phased manner starting from mid-March. It is planned to be launched in the South-Indian market and then the launch will take place for other Indian markets including Northern and West Indian markets.

The Gusto 125 shares the same body as its younger sibling, the Gusto 110. It propels a slightly peppier 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers a healthy 8.6bhp of maximum power and 10Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a CVT-transmission.

The company is following the phase-launch formula to gather maximum attention in this market. As Gusto 110 is already a good seller we expect the bigger displacement Gusto just the do the job even better. Though there is nothing change on the body part but it comes with striking new paint scheme that is expected to attract a larger set of audience. Hit us with your comments on the same in the section below and stay tuned as we bring you more updates.
