Mahindra and Mahindra, one of the most active in the motorsports and adventure rally in the Indian automotive space recently concluded the Tri-Nation Escape 2013, which was held under the Mahindra Adventure umbrella. The great multi-country road trip, which was held across many countries including India, Nepal and Bhutan, covered a total distance of nearly 3,000 km! The expedition took over from the capital city; New Delhi and spanned over 11 days. The voyage took stops at world renowned landmarks like the Pokhara, a city known for its lakes and breathtaking views of the Annapurna range. The next stop in Nepal was the capital city and holy town of Kathmandu, which sees a lot of tourists from all over the world.
The convoy crossed border to reach Bhutan – The Land of the Thunder Dragon. The small country has a lively population, food with overuse of Chilli with the views of larger-than-life monasteries with beautifully laid tarmac. The entire journey consisted of a montage of road fun, crossing the historic borders and days of relaxation and knowing the locals better.
The participants left awe-inspired and looking for more adventure on the conclusion of the long trip as such chances were once in a lifetime for few and it was something the participants would keep close to their heart forever.

Through this road trip we celebrated the incredible landscape of our region, as the convoy of vehicles passed through our neighbouring countries of Nepal and Bhutan. All the participants experienced the drive of their lifetime while enjoying the spectacular panorama along the way and also experienced the unique cultures of the countries visited resulting in some very unforgettable memories.”

On the route, participants experienced best hospitality, which further strengthened their experience of the journey. The even followed motorsport standard and the participants were overwhelmed by the warm treatment during the long haul. The extensive network of Mahindra dealer played an extensive role to the journey.
