The homegrown utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra has introduced new dual colour options in its popular sub-4 meter SUV, the TUV300. The company has announced that this special colour scheme will be available only with the top-of-the-line T8 variants which comes with the mHawk100 engine mated to a manual gearbox.

Customers who would like to buy the TUV with dual colour scheme have to shell out Rs. 15,000 over the regular T8 price. The newly launched dual coloured variant is available in silver and black combination. The body is painted in silver, whereas the roof and the pillars are painted in black. The bumpers are painted in dual tone which gives the baby SUV a nice look. According to Mahindra & Mahindra spokesperson, the new colour combination has been carefully chosen to add to the style quotient of the Mahindra TUV300. The company expects the new colour scheme to increase the SUV’s appeal among urban buyers.

Some of the Mahindra dealerships are already offering the TUV300 in dual colour options like Black top with a choice of Red or blue bottom which is helping to push the sales of the SUV to a great extent. Now Mahindra itself is offering the vehicle in dual colour option in order to encash some more booking during the festive season.

In addition to the newly introduced dual colour option, the Mahindra TUV300 comes painted in 7 different colours which are Verve Blue, Dynamite Red, Molten Orange, Glacier White, Majestic Silver, and Bold Black respectively. During the eve of independence day, Mahindra had introduced a Bronze green shade which can be availed by placing a special order. If you have already purchased a TUV300 and want to get the dual tone feeling, you can get the black or white roof decal applied which are available through Mahindra Genuine Accessories.

The Mahindra TUV300 comes powered with a 1.5liter turbo diesel engine which is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox for optimum performance. The engine develops 100bhp and 240nm of torque and it translets into great performance. Right now the TUV competes against Ford Ecosport, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Renault Duster in the under 4-meter SUV segment. As of now the vehicle retails from INR 7.45 lakh to 10 lakh.
