Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is all set to launch the TUV300 Plus in the Indian market in January 2018. However, prior to official launch, the pricing of the P4 variant has been leaked, courtesy a Proforma Invoice from a dealership in Tamil Nadu. Mahindra TUV300 Plus P4 is priced at Rs. 9.46 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom), reveals the invoice. First things first, the TUV300 Plus is a stretched version of the standard SUV, which would offer a 9 seat-configuration.

Speaking of the exterior styling, Mahindra TUV300 Plus P4 variant flaunts a black front grille, black bumper, black exterior mirrors and black exterior door handles. The SUV has an extended C-Pillar and larger wraparound tail lamps that even stretch upto the sides. It would boast of side-facing seats for four passengers behind the second-row bench. According to the dealers, TUV300 Plus would be introduced in multiple seating-configurations. The interior elements are expected to be carried over from the standard TUV300 with almost all the bells and whistles. The TUV300 Plus would be greater than 4 meters in length and hence, it won't enjoy the benefits that the standard SUV gets.
Speculations were rife that Mahindra TUV300 Plus could be powered by 2.2L diesel engine, which comes with the Scorpio and XUV500. Even it was rumored that the company's specially developed 1.99L diesel motor might be offered with the new SUV. But all of this has been put to rest by the leaked invoice as it shows that the new SUV would have a 2.0L mHawk120 diesel engine which churns out 120bhp. The engine would be linked to a 6-speed manual transmission. The TUV300 Plus would replace the ageing Xylo SUV in the Indian market, which failed to make any impact on the buyers since its launch in the country. Mahindra TUV300 Plus would take on the likes of Maruti Ertiga & Renault Lodgy in India.
