Mahindra TUV3OO has been fully revealed in a series of spy-shots during its photo shoot in Bikaner, Rajasthan ahead of its scheduled launch on September 10, 2015. Being an all-new vehicle, the TUV300 has been designed and developed in-house by the Mahindra design team. The research and development of this sub 4-meter SUV has been carried out at the world class Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai.
Going by the images, the exterior design of Mahindra TUV3OO is boxy and it has five doors. At the front, there are sweptback headlamps, rectangular fog lamps and vertical chrome slats featuring grille. One can also notice several body-coloured elements in form of door handles, door mirrors and bumpers. There are also roof rails, blackened B and D-pillars, and 10-spoke alloy wheels to make it look sportier, while the rear end - quite identical to Ford EcoSport - has a tail gate mounted spare wheel with cover. The vertically shaped tail-lamp cluster and rear wiper sums up the exterior styling of the TUV3OO compact SUV.
Though, the interior image isn't available as of now, but it is being learnt that the TUV3OO would be a 7-seater vehicle. There would be an all-black dashboard with silver accents. One can expect the range-topping variant to come with an infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, AUX-in, USB and steering mounted audio and phone controls. Under the hood, the TUV3OO would have a new mHawk diesel engine, which is said to be the down-graded version of Quanto's 1.5L, 3-cylinder diesel engine. It would be offered with manual gearbox as standard, while an automatic/AMT gearbox could also be available as optional.
