Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL), a part of the Mahindra Group, continued to grow its presence in the Indian two wheeler segment during December 2013. With an over-all growth of 252 percent Mahindra sold 19,715 units of two-wheelers during the previous month. While domestic growth stood at 267 percent compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

Recently launched Mahindra Centuro has been the main contributor to the growth witnessed by the Indian major. Powered by a MCi-5 (Micro Chip ignited-5 curve) engine delivering a power output of 8.5 BHP @ 7500 rpm and peak torque of 8.5 Nm @ 5500 rpm mated with a five speed gearbox. The price of the Centuro starts at INR 46,500 (ex showroom, New Delhi).
