Mahindra has finally revealed the name of its much awaited MPV U321 and the car will arrive christened as Marazzo. The MPV will launch ahead of Diwali 2018, possibly in September. As the brand claims, the Mahindra Marazzo’s design has been inspired by the sharks and the name has been taken from Basque language, a sub-language of Spanish.
The Mahindra Marazzo will come with lot of interesting design elements like aggressive front fascia with shark-teeth inspired vertically slated front grille flanked by sharp projector headlamps and integrated ED daytime running lights, shark-tail inspired taillight etc. There will be plenty of chrome at the front and back and it will run on large, stylish alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, Mahindra Marazzo has been designed to offer a very spacious and comfortable feel. The automaker revealed the footprint area of this model is 47.5 sq ft, biggest for any car of the brand. It will have a shark spine inspired Air conditioning system inside the cabin, while the dashboard will sport sharp contours and instrumental cluster features blue and purple ambient lighting. It will be available in seven and eight-seater options and there will be plenty of premium features as well.
Based on a lightweight and agile new platform, the Mahindra Marazzo will be powered by a brand-new diesel engine, developed by the automaker itself. Upon launch, the Mahindra Marazzo will challenge the rivals like Toyota Innova Crysta and Tata Hexa.
