Mahindra is all set to launch its much-awaited new U321 MPV in India on April 18, 2018. This MPV will lock horns with a tough rival like the Toyota Innova Crysta which has been one of the bestselling models in the segment for quite some time. Test mules of the car have been spied several times in the country in the last couple of months giving is a preview of the MPV.
As it appears, the U321 carries Mahindra’s tough and aggressive styling language and it is also expected to boast a powerful and efficient engine under the hood. The Mahindra U321 MPV gets a bold looking vertically slated front grille that not only enhances the car’s aggressiveness but masculinity as well. It would also sport large and bold looking alloy wheels. The projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, LED taillights will ensure the MPV comes with a premium look.
Not only exterior, Mahindra U321’s cabin too will offer a spacious and comfortable feel to the occupants along with a premium vibe. It will carry generous legroom, plush leather seats for the occupants; while the features will include a large touchscreen infotainment system, analogue-digital instrument cluster etc. also, expect it to carry faux wooden trims like its rival Innova Crysta. It could come with some segment-leading features as well.
In terms of power, Mahindra U321 MPV would get energy from a powerful mHawk diesel engine. It could get Mahindra’s tried and tested 2.2-litre diesel motor. Transmission options will include manual and automatic units, while the pricing of this car is expected to be competitive against its rival. Alongside the domestic market, Mahindra is also eyeing the overseas markets with this upcoming MPV.
