Mahindra and Mahindra unveiled its all-new concept XUV Aero SUV at the Auto Expo 2016. The company started the 2nd day of the Motor Show by unveiling the new design study concept, that visions this future coupe-inspired four-door crossover from the Indian manufacturer. Chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra, reportedly reveals that it can go into mass production, depending on the public feedback.
Mr Mahindra also revealed that the XUV Aero Concept was styled by Mahindra and built by Pininfarina, which is now Mahindra owned subsidiary. The design cues of XUV Aero Concept have been borrowed from the Mahindra XUV500 SUV. It features new LED DRLs, sporty body kit to give a low stance, hood vents, chunky bumpers with diffuser, sloping roofline and LED taillamps contributing to its dynamic design. The XUV Aero concept will also feature the company's new infotainment and connectivity features that'll be offered on future Mahindra production cars.
Under the hood, the XUV Aero concept will be powered by a tuned-up mHawk engine, churning out 210 HP of power Mahindra unveils concept XUV Aero SUV at Auot Expo 2016. The Concept incorporates an advanced combustion system and low pressure EGR for the better performance. The company claims that it is capable to bolt from 0-100 kmph in less than 6 seconds.
