Mahindra is all set to launch its much awaited XUV500 facelift in India on 18th April. Ahead of that the facelifted version of the XUV500 SUV has started reaching dealerships across India. The flagship product of Mahindra becomes much more aggressive compared to the pre-facelift version. With this facelift, Mahindra XUV500 will be able to revise the rivalry against Hyundai Tucson and Tata Hexa.

The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 comes sporting a restyled front grille with plenty of chrome garnishing. It also gets projector headlamps with redesigned LED daytime running lights. The bumpers too have changed. It runs on large restyled alloy wheels. The LED turn indicator integrated ORVMs, new design wraparound LED taillights add zing to the SUV. So far, the new Mahindra XUV500 looks very attractive from every angle.
Not only exterior, cabin of the SUV has become more premium looking thanks to the revised design and new features. It gets a new multifunction steering wheel, analog and digital display consisting dual-pod instrument cluster, a new touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and MirrorLink. It also ensures better space for the occupants. There are extra cubby holes and a panoramic sunroof as well adding practicality and premiumness.
Power source for the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 is a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine under the hood. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual gearbox and an Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic unit. Power and torque output of the SUV will be much better compared to the pre-facelift version of the SUV.
