Mahindra is gearing-up with the new facelift version of the XUV500 SUV that was spied doing some test rounds. The new Mahindra XUV500 is expected to make its launch early 2018. The new model will come with some cosmetic updates, redesigned front and rear bumper and newly-designed alloy wheels.
The clear spy shots show the design of the front grille, which seems different from the outgoing model. The car was spied in a heavy camouflage wraparound that gives us a hint about tweaks hidden. Though, this test mule gets the same alloy wheel as seen on the current version of the Mahindra XUV500. Inside, the centre console, the backlight of console and steering are largely the same as on the outgoing version.

Under the hood, the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 is expected to come packed with an updated 2.2-litre mHawk diesel unit that would be belting out a power output of 168bhp with 400Nm. We can also expect a petrol variant on offer with same mHawk engine block as the diesel one, but will crank out 140 bhp with 320Nm.
Mahindra XUV500 Facelift could make its debut at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018.
