Mahindra & Mahindra's flagship SUV XUV500 has set a new benchmark by selling more than 75, 000 units in little over two years since its launch. Not just the Indian market, the SUV is performing well in international markets as well like South Africa, Australia and several European nations. India’s first global SUV – XUV500 has been crowned with 22 prestigious awards and several recognitions from auto experts.

On an extension note, Mahindra & Mahindra has recently introduced the new base variant 'W4' of their best selling XUV500 at Rs. 10.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Deriving its power from the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, the XUX500 W4 too delivers the same 140bhp and 330Nm of torque. This powertrain is boosted with 5th Generation VGT (Variable Geometry Turbocharger) and six speed transmission.
