The Mahindra e2o Plus, an electric car from the Indian automaker will be launching on October 21st in India. The company had initially made its debut in the United Kingdom with its e2o and is all set to spice up the Indian market now.

The company is yet to reveal much about the upcoming car, but certain facts about it has been unearthed. It will come with lithium ion batteries which will be maintenance free, and once charged will enable you to travel upto 100kms at a speed of 80kmph. The e2o Plus is a hatchback which derives most of its exterior styling from the previous e20 two door car. From the images seen in the teaser, it is seen that the car will have an elongated structure so that a set of rear seats can be accommodated. The overall dimensions of the car will remain compact. It will also get a longer rear section along with vertical tail lights and tubeless tyres of 13-inches.

The interiors will be similar to its previous model and will get an advanced and friendly music system, electric ORVMs, Bluetooth connectivity and support of DVD, MP3, CD as well as power steering

The electric car will most likely feature the same 19kW electric motor, which is now found in the e20 and will come with fast charging capability.
