Two-wheelers are probably the only thing in the automobile sector that witnessed a growth this June. Even though the percentage growth has not been staggering for most of the manufacturers, Mahindra witnessed 87% growth in the number of sales this June over last year.
According to a press release, Mahindra sold 14,389 units in the local market this June which is 83% more than 7,849 units it sold last June. The number of two-wheelers exported by Mahindra were 1,074 units.
Speaking on the sales figures, Viren Popli, Chief of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, “We are happy about the sustained growth momentum on our flagship brand the Centuro. We thank our customers for their continued confidence & we will further delight them with exciting new propositions in coming months.”
