Maruti has launched a limited edition of its Celerio hatchback in the form of VXi+ with a few cosmetic upgrades. It has been made available with the VXi as well as the LXi trims. This step has been taken to spice-up the sales and capitalize on the festive season period.

Inside the cabin, the limited edition Celerio VXi+ would have a JVC 2-DIN music system, multiple speakers and remote central locking. However, there is no change in the engine and technical specifications of the Celerio hatchback. It is still powered by the same 1.0L, 4-cylinder, petrol engine that churns out 67 bhp of top power and 90Nm of peak torque. It is being paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional AMT gearbox (first-in-segment) is also on offer. These gearboxes transfers the power to the front wheels of the hatchback. The Celerio delivers a fuel efficiency of 23.1kmpl which is again, a segment best.
