The Maruti Suzuki Celerio X is presently in the news and is awaiting its official launch. However, the brochure of this hatchback has been leaked online and the images have surfaced online. This brochure reveals a lot about the upcoming car and here they are in details:
The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio X will be offered in a total of 8 trims - VXi, VXi (O), ZXi and ZXi (O), each being available in MT and AMT. However, unlike the standard version of the Celerio, the Celerio X will not have the base LXi variant. It will be available in five exterior colour shades, which are Blue, White, Orange, Grey and Brown.
On the outside, the Maruti Celerio X differs greatly from the regular model, mainly because of the exterior modifications and additions. It gets excessive black cladding all around the lower profile. The wheel arches get an abundant quantity of black plastic. The front portion gets black treatment on the front grille and on the fog lamp areas. The rear portion gets reflectors mounted on the lower bumper along with the addition of skid plates.
Nothing much has changed on the inside of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X. However, the black and beige colour tone of the regular Celerio has been scrapped and the car now embraces an all-black tone with geometry pattern on the seat upholstery and orange highlighting strips every here and there.
The mechanical end of the car remains the same. The 1.0-litre K10B petrol engine will be doing the duties in the Maruti Celerio X as well. The engine is capable of making a maximum power of 67 bhp along with a highest torque of 90 Nm. The transmission duties are done by a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox in all the variants.
