Seems like Maruti is on a rampage of launching new and updated vehicles. The long list of launches includes the premium sedan Ciaz, followed by the updated Swift, new K10 and now, the facelift Dzire images have surfaced online. This is not the first time, the spy shots have been taken, but this time, the images are detailed. The updated Maruti Dzire is expected to launch somewhere around January 2015.
The news images clearly show the heavy use of chrome in the front with a thick chrome slat on front grille, which we couldn't stop comparing to the Honda Brio and Civic. The front will also get new chrome fog lamp inserts which are similar to the one seen in the Suzuki Alivio (Ciaz in China). Further, there is a redesigned bumper, headlamps more or less similar to Swift, sporty alloy wheels and revised rear end. The side profile is almost similar to the existing car.
As for the interiors, the updated Dzire is expected to get the same features as the Swift facelift, which the only interior spy shot also suggests. The features will include new seat upholstery, keyless entry and go (push start/stop button), a new music system with Bluetooth and six speakers, steering mounted call and audio controls, reverse / parking sensors, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs, and other minor updates.
The powerplant is also expected to be in-line with the facelift Swift, with the petrol version getting a minor update in the power figures. Although, the mileage is expected to be boosted incredibly like in the updated Swift.
