And as they said in the TVC, the new Swift is 'Excitement Reborn'.

On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki’s Alto K10, has been the highest selling car in India for many years now. The budget hatch, got a facelift in the form of completely new design and new AMT gearbox. The new Alto K10 is the same 1.0 litre 3-cylinder engine underneath, with a new body on the top and refreshed interiors. It also gets a new AMT transmission, which is dubbed as the cheapest automatic in the world.

Much of the emphasis is given on the performance of the car, showcasing the car competing with adventure sport Paragliding. It also lays its focus on the best in class mileage and all the new features including a music system and safety features like airbags.

Maruti Swift is aimed to compete against the Volkswagen Polo, Fiat Punto Evo and the Hyundai Grand i10, whereas the Alto K10 is will face a competition from the Hyundai i10 and Datsun GO.
