Maruti had a successful 2014 in terms of launches, with two all new vehicles launched in the form of Celerio and Ciaz, and two facelifted models launched recently, in the form of Swift and the Alto K10. Both the refreshed versions launched, now get a TVC for them, highlighting the performance and features for both the cars.
Maruti Suzuki Swift has been the most successful premium hatchback in India from the stable of Maruti. The ever reliable hatch got its first update in late 2011 and earlier this month, they launched another facelifted version. The new Swift gets new LED DRLs, start-stop button and other important safety features. But the most important change is the refreshed engine, which now gets best in class efficiency figures.
The TVC for the new Maruti Swift facelift is aimed at pitching the hatch as the performance oriented car. Remember the spy shots few weeks back, which revealed the new Swift completely? The shots were taken at the shoot of the TVC, as it can be seen. The TVC integrates focuses both on the new features as well as the Swift's performance. And as they said in the TVC, the new Swift is 'Excitement Reborn'.
The TVC launched for the new Alto K10 brings the hatchback’s performance and youthful looks together. Much of the emphasis is given on the performance of the car, showcasing the car competing with adventure sport Paragliding. It also lays its focus on the best in class mileage and all the new features including a music system and safety features like airbags.
Maruti Swift is aimed to compete against the Volkswagen Polo, Fiat Punto Evo and the Hyundai Grand i10, whereas the Alto K10 is will face a competition from the Hyundai i10 and Datsun GO.
