Maruti S-Cross Premia Launched at Rs. 8.99 Lakhs

Maruti Suzuki has silently introduced a new limited edition version of its S-Cross premium crossover in the country. Being christened as Maruti S-Cross Premia, the limited edition is priced at Rs. 8.99 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) and is retailed in tier I cities including Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Based on the Delta variant in the DDiS 200 diesel guise, the S-Cross Premia comes loaded with several added features.

Talking about the added features, Maruti S-Cross Premia gets alloy wheels, foglamps, reverse parking camera and a Garmin 5-inch navigation system as standard. Besides the aforementioned features, the S-Cross Premia is identical to Delta variant of the premium crossover. Just so you know, Maruti S-Cross Delta boasts of an audio player with a CD player and a remote, a manual AC unit and steel wheels with full wheel caps. It comes at a sticker price of Rs. 9.15 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, New Delhi). Maruti S-Cross is sold via the company's newly setup NEXA chain of premium outlets, nationwide.

Maruti S-Cross is only available in diesel fuel trim with two Fiat-sourced engines. The 1.3L, 4-cylinder diesel unit is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the 1.6L, 4-cylinder motor is linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox. There is no automatic or all-wheel drive variant on offer, currently. Maruti S-Cross is challeneged by the likes of Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and Nissan Terrano.
