Maruti S-Presso, the latest entrant in the entry-level hatchback segment, has outnumbered its arch-rivals Renault Kwid and Mahindra KUV 100 in domestic sales of September 2019 in the country.
Being launched in a price range of Rs 3.69-4.91 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) on September 30, it registered sales of 5006 units which was higher than its rivals. Just so you know, Renault has also launched the 2019 Kwid Facelift recently with new design and features.

Underpinning the 5th-generation 'Heartect' architecture, Maruti S-Presso flaunts a boxy design - a 'mini' Vitara Brezza. It comes with a higher ground clearance of 180 in order to appear sportier and SUV-ish.
Measuring 3,565mm in length, 1,520mm in width, and 1,564mm in height, it comes with a wheelbase of 2,380mm. The company has also introduced two special accessory packages as well with the hatch. It comes with as high as 98 percent of localization while available in a total of four grades: Std, LXi, VXi, and VXi+.
One of the most notable features of Maruti S-Presso is the SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The instrument cluster is inspired by the Future S while it is available in six exterior color options.
Under the hood, the hatchback has a 1.0L K10B petrol engine which generates top power of 67bhp and peak torque of 90Nm. The BS 6 certified engine is offered with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard while a 5-speed AMT gearbox can also be availed as an option.
