- Rendered Maruti Suzuki 800 looks identical to Honda e hatch.
- It has been rendered with green and black colors majorly.
- The interior cabin has not been rendered by the artists.
Maruti Suzuki 800 has achieved the 'cult' status in the Indian market. The small car was the perfect 'aam aadmi' vehicle for several years to numerous families in India.
Now, it has been over 5 years since the 800 was discontinued in the country, but auto enthusiasts now and then, keep rendering the hatch with various sporty accessories. This piece is just one such example of a wild imagination.
Looking at the rendered image, it pays resemblance to the recently unveiled Honda e-hatchback. It is visualized in a bright green color with a sportier stance while riding on blackened alloy wheels. The A-pillar and B-pillar are also blacked out with a floating roofline.
Although, the designers have retained the boxy silhouette albeit with modern sporty elements in order to bring out the perfect amalgamation of vintage and modern stuff. The front fascia flaunts a black grille with the signature Maruti Suzuki badge, as seen on the actual 800.
The headlamps are in a square shape with horizontally shaped LED daytime running lamps (DRLs). The designers have placed the turn signals at the front quarter panel while the bonnet feels a bit high. There are black colored ORVMs to flank the overall profile of the hatch.
The designers haven't rendered the interior but we would have loved to see the modern features such as climate control, touchscreen infotainment system and many others. However, under the hood, we will still like the old school 796cc petrol motor with 5-speed manual gearbox.
