Alto BS6 being offered with benefits of up to Rs 60,000.

Maruti Suzuki has announced discounts and benefits across its range of vehicles. The Alto is its most affordable product, but it is offering some of the highest benefits of the range, at a total of Rs 60,000.
The Rs 60,000 benefits on the Alto is broken into a Rs 40,000 cash discount, Rs 20,000 exchange bonus, and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000. This brings down the entry-level price of the Alto to Rs 2.2 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Interestingly, the same discounts are applicable to its sibling, the Alto K10. Further up the range, the WagonR is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 25,000, of which Rs 20,000 is an exchange bonus.
Maruti has cut Rs 5000 from the price of all cars in its range as a direct result of the government reducing corporate tax by ten percent. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is being offered with discounts and benefits of up to Rs 97,000 – no doubt a result of a combination of factors, including the festive season, the phasing out of the 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine, and the rumors that the updated petrol-only Vitara Brezza isn’t too far away.
The Petrol Swift is being offered with a straight-up cash discount of Rs 30,000. The Dzire gets discounts and benefits of up to Rs 78,000.
With the market leader giving in to the pressure to get sales going and the festive season beginning, the rest of the manufacturers will be forced to follow suit to keep up.
