Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift is one of the cars that has been making strong buzz in recent times. Facelift version of the stylish midsize sedan from Maruti Suzuki is ready to be launched in the country in early August this year and ahead of that, the car has been spied undisguised for the first time. As it appears from the spyshots, the sedan comes with significantly updated design that makes it more stylish and premium looking.

The images reveal a redesigned black front grille with sleek chrome trim and there are sleek and sharp headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The bumper too has been updated with larger air intake and the larger fog lamps housings get shiny C shaped chrome trims. The hood comes with a steady sloping appearance. At the side profile, the sedan gets large and bold looking alloy wheels, while the sleek creases add zing to the car. Rear of the car gets new design LED taillights and chrome trim above the registration enclosure.

Not only exterior, interior of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift will come equally restyled and appealing. It gets updated seat and upholstery materials, new multifunction steering wheel, dual-pod instrument cluster and a larger touchscreen infotainment system at centre console with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In terms of space it could appear same as the current model as dimensional changes are unlikely. There would be a sunroof in the top-spec trim.

On the powertrain front, the refreshed Ciaz sedan will get a new inhouse developed 1.5-litre petrol engine that will churn out around 103 bhp of peak power and 138 Nm of peak torque. On the diesel front, the Ciaz will continue with the same 1.3-litre DDiS motor that works in the present model. However, this engine will be replaced with an in-house developed 1.5-litre engine in future.
