  • The production Maruti Suzuki Future S spied again
  • Borrows design cues from the Future S Concept showcased at 2018 Auto Expo
  • The car will come with a centre positioned instrument cluster (likely to be digital)

Earlier, we informed that the production version of the concept Future S caught doing some test round near the city outskirts. The car has been spied yet again, though there have been many speculations for the model spied some say it is going to be an all-new Maruti Suzuki Alto, while others say that it could be Zen’s comeback model.

Going by the images, the car has been codenamed as Maruti Y1K and borrows its design cues from Future S concept that made its public debut at the 2018 Auto Expo. It gets raised bonnet with shoulder line, high roofline (giving a bit tall boy stance to the model) and a raked windshield at the rear that gives a touch of micro-SUV to the model. And there is no doubt that with the tall boy stance, it will also offer a great amount of head-room to the occupants. On the inside, it appears that the car will come with a digital instrument cluster positioned in the centre of the dashboard, and the curves edging the centre one speak of the AC vents.

In terms of safety features, it will come packed with ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, speed sensing auto door lock, reverse parking sensors, high-speed warning system, etc., to name a few. These are some safety feature that will come as standard with the model. Nonetheless, the car will be solidly built to match the BNVSAP crash test norms.
