Maruti Suzuki has launched the Limited Edition Ertiga MPV in Indian market with range of cosmetic updates inside out. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Limited Edition comes based on the V trim and will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options with pricing being Rs 7.80 lakh and Rs 9.71 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), respectively for the petrol and diesel variants. With this, the special edition model comes around Rs 14,000 premium over the regular V trim of the MPV.
As Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the new Ertiga by Diwali 2018, this could be an attempt to boost the customer interest for the MPV. Meanwhile the new Ertiga is already on sale in Indonesia. Speaking about the updates, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Limited Edition gets shiny chrome finish at fog lamp bezel, chrome side moulding, stylish alloy wheels, rear spoiler and distinctive ‘Limited Edition’ badge.
The Maruti Suzuki Limited Edition comes available in three paint options that are Exquisite Maroon, Silky Grey and Superior White. Not only exterior, inside the cabin the MPV looks more stylish compared to the regular model. It gets all-new dark seat covers with contrasting white borders. The faux wood trims at centre console and dual-tone steering wheel cover add zing to the cabin. There is a front armrest and ambient lighting adding premiumness to the MPV’s cabin.
While it has received several cosmetic updates, there is no change on the mechanical front. The special edition MPV is powered by a 1.4-litre petrol engine and there is a 1.3-litre diesel engine. Transmission duty is done by a 5-speed manual gearbox. Also, there is a 4-speed automatic gearbox available with the petrol variant.
