India's top-selling car Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 has turned 1 year old now, and to celebrate this occasion, the company has rolled out the Anniversary Edition of the car, which has come up with some new features and graphic updates. Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 was launched in India to replace the Alto F8D, and the kind of response the car has received is extra ordinary. If we look at the sales figure of Maruti Suzuki, Alto 800 has been the top-seller with a monthly average of around 24,000-25,000 units. Despite the economic slowdown, Maruti Suzuki managed to sell over 23,000 units of the car in September.

An anniversary edition of the country's most loved car at a time when Indian buyers are in the festive mood, is certainly a good idea. This might help the company escalate its sales during the festive season. And like we reported a couple of days back, the company has also launched a special Alto K10 musiK edition to lure buyers.
