Maruti Suzuki India Limited today launched the new Alto 800, which has been India’s best-selling car for more than a decade. Backed by high customer satisfaction and popularity, Maruti Suzuki this time has brought the new Alto with improved safety features and captivating design. The new Maruti Suzuki Alto now comes with BS-VI compliant motor, nearly a year prior to the regulation is brought into effect.

Buyers will see a shift in price heavily due to factors such as additional safety features, new technology and design and compliance to BS-VI norms. With these changes, the new Maruti Alto 800 becomes the first entry level segment car to be compliant with the contemporary safety and environment standards.
Meeting the End of Life Vehicles (ELV) obligations, the New Alto is over 95% recoverable and 85% recyclable.
