Maruti Suzuki has recalled over 800 units of the 2018 Ciaz sedan to replace the speedometer assembly and owner’s manual in the Zeta and Alpha version of Ciaz diesel. This recall does not speak of safety concerns for the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz owners. The company is calling for the model under the ‘Service Campaign’. The company has recalled a total of 880 units of the Ciaz diesel that were manufactured between August 1 and September 21, 2018. Maruti Suzuki dealers will contact the owners for the inspection and replacement of the part free of cost. The recall is only for the model year 2018.
The higher variants Zeta and Alpha variants (diesel) of the model are affected and customers can check on the company’s website. All they have to do is fill the chassis number of their vehicle (MA3 with the 14-digit alpha-numeric number) on the specific page created by the brand for the Service Campaign.
