Maruti Suzuki has launched its new Wagon R Stingray which is expected to bring new excitement in the Indian market. The former Wagon R had a great demand in the market which encouraged the MSIL to manufacture the new version of it.

The Stingray will be available at a basic price of Rs.4.10 lakh in the showrooms of Delhi. The car in the international markets is labeled as Wagon R Stingray but in the Indian markets it is shortened  and called as Stingray. Stingray has been included with some moving features that are only found in high end cars. The features like first class projector headlamps , reflector grille, driver airbag, black upholstery, gun finished alloys, dive info display and music system with AUX and USB support.

The engine of the MS Wagon R Stingray is made of 1 liter K Series petrol engine which produces a maximum power of 67bhp and a torque of 90Nm at the rate of 3500RPM. The engine is made up of aluminium which gives it a lightweight configuration. The car is capable of providing an acceleration of 100kmph in 15.6 secs and can race at a top speed of 120kmph. The mileage specs indicate that the car is very economical and fuel efficient. It claims to give an impressive mileage of 17.1kmpl in city and 20.5kmpl  on highway.

The trendy looking model comes with brand new styling on the exterior. The edges of the car are made bolder which gives it a sporty look. The houses of the car are shaped to contain wide air dam for quicker engine cooling. The rear bumper is added with aggressive elements which makes the car stand out.

Automobile car Statistics show that the car sales fell by about 7% during the last month due to rising fuel prices and high rate loans which is a thing of concern for Wagon R Stingray’s sales.
