Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the most anticipated compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza tomorrow in the country. It will be Maruti Suzuki’s first sub 4-metre SUV that will make its entry into the Indian car market. The compact SUV will be available only with a diesel engine at the time of launch, while the petrol engine version following a few months from now. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will be offered in four variants - LDi, VDi, ZDi and ZDi+.
Speaking of the exterior, it gets dual-tone contrasting colour scheme on the roof and at the front, where the front fascia features chrome grille with Suzuki logo encased in it fused with LED headlamps. The headlamps and daytime running light are housed in a single unit. Inside, the Viatara Brezza features piano finished accents on the dashboard, and the interior has been designed to maximize the space for the occupants. This compact SUV will be loaded with a host of comforts like touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control and much more.
Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will be powered by a Fiat sourced 1.3-litre DDIS unit that that produces 89 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque @ 1,750 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission giving drive to the front axle. With its compact Size, the brand will count on Brezzas’ lightweight construction so as to compete with the likes of Ford EcoSport, which is now installed with a 100 PS engine, sourced from the Figo Aspire compact sedan.
