With the launch of Maruti Vitara Brezza, the company delayed the deliveries for this most anticipated product, but today Maruti Suzuki announced that it will start deliveries of its recently launched compact urban SUV, Vitara Brezza, to customers, from 25th March 2016. The vehicles will be retailed from the Company’s over 1,800 sales outlets spread across India.
Announcing the start of retail sales, Mr. R S Kalsi, Executive Director (M&S) shared, “We are delighted at customers’ response to Vitara Brezza. They have appreciated it for its sporty and muscular design and the combination of features offered at multiple trim levels. Our endeavor now is to deliver these cars quickly so that customers can enjoy their Vitara Brezza.”
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016 and the car will be available in 7 variants including a fully loaded, top-end variant with dual tone colour scheme. Where the Vitara Brezza brings the muscle, glamour and contemporary style that were so far missing in this segment, this car just on the first fortnight of its launch, the car received around 70,000 customer enquiries and 20,000 bookings. Not only this, the Brezza is future ready for safety regulations. It is the first car in the country to be certified for offset and side impact crash tests which will be enforced in India in 2017.
Speaking of the engine, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is powered by a Fiat sourced 1.3-litre DDIS 200 engine, which is connected to a 5-speed manual transmission, capable to deliver 89 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque @ 1,750 rpm. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes with a front-wheel drive configuration. The Vitara Brezza offers an incredible fuel consumption 24.3 km/l certified by ARAI, which is a class-leading figure and 10-12% superior to other SUVs.
