Maruti Suzuki has launched its Compact SUV the Vitara Brezza at an introductory price of Rs 6.99 Lakh (Ex showroom, Delhi). The Vitara Brezza is the first model that is fully developed in India by Maruti Suzuki’s R&D team and is the first sub-4 metre offering by the brand. The Vitara Brezza is available in six grades - LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+.

Speaking of the exterior, the Vitara Brezza designers have worked pretty well to give it a beefy fascia up front and smooth flowing curves around the body. The raised belt line and rocker line along with a gently sloping roofline impart a dynamic posture to Vitara Brezza. It boasts of the Balanced proportions, square wheel arches with large tyres, body kit, skid plate garnishes and the hood bring in a highlighting this SUV. Moreover, it features ‘Bull Horn’ LEDs with unique turn indicators boasting that sporty look. Further moving to rear, the Vitara Brezza gets split tail-lights with LEDs and an embossed signature chrome bar that adds a distinct personality to the vehicle.
The interior of the Vitara Brezza welcomes with a contemporary dashboard with futuristic layout, resolute garnishing, progressive meter cluster with stylish bucket seats lend fashionable sophistication. It features a bolder centre focus theme, with impressive characteristic garnishes, rugged door handles, premium finishing and treatment make for an impressive dashboard. Customers get a choice of 5 preset colours in the speedometer, which they can choose as per their mood. The Vitara Brezza gets well maximum usable space with the right proportions. The compact engine room packaging leads to a roomier passenger cabin that offers comfortable ingress-egress and adequate leg room to the rear passenger. The well-padded seat in the front offers a commanding driving position.
Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is powered by a Fiat sourced 1.3-litre DDIS engine, which is connected to a 5-speed manual transmission, capable to deliver 89 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque @ 1,750 rpm. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes with a front-wheel drive configuration. The Vitara Brezza offers an incredible fuel consumption 24.3 km/l certified by ARAI, which is a class-leading figure.
The Vitara Brezza also offer some safety features like the driver side airbag as standard, whereas a passenger airbag along with ABS and EBD is optional on the (O) variants and standard on the Z variants. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will compete with the likes of Ford EcoSport, the Mahindra TUV300 and the upcoming Tata Nexon. The Brezza is being offered with the choice of colours like single tone colours of Pearl Arctic White, Granite Grey, Premium Silver and three dual paint schemes of Cerulean Blue with Pearl Arctic White Roof, Blazing Red with Midnight Black Roof, and Fiery Yellow with Pearl Arctic White Roof which is available in the top variants (ZDi, ZDi+).
