Maruti Suzuki has launched the Vitara Brezza Sports Limited Edition at an introductory price of Rs 7.98 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The standard models of the sub-compact SUV can also be converted into a Sports Limited edition by paying Rs 29,990. The unique accessory package comprises of new seat covers, designer mats, slide cladding, body graphics, front and rear garnish, leather steering cover, door sill-guard, wheel arch kit and neck cushion, among others. Maruti Vitara Brezza's key rivals are Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300 and Tata Nexon.

Being launched in March 2016, Maruti Vitara Brezza was the first one to introduce dual-tone colours – a first in its segment. The sub 4-meter sUV was also the fastest to touch the 4 Lakh sales mark in the SUV segment in just 35 months, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of over 13 percent. It has been constantly featuring in the list of top 10 bestselling cars of the country. Furthermore, the Vitara Brezza has regularly clocked growing numbers which are much higher than several competition products put together. The company has already sold more than 4.35 Lakh units of the SUV since launch. Being only available in diesel fuel trim, it has been priced in a range of Rs 7.68-10.42 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi).

Maruti Suzuki introduced the two-pedal technology, Auto Gear Shift (AMT), in 2018 with the Vitara Brezza. The new AMT variants received overwhelming response from customers with its penetration as high as 53 percent in Mumbai and 32 percent in Delhi. In 2018-19 alone, Maruti Suzuki sold over 1,57,880 units of Vitara Brezza, leading the segment with a market share of over 44 percent. The SUV is offered in four grades: LDi, VDi, ZDi and ZDi+. The AMT gearbox is available with each of the aforementioned trim levels, baring the entry-level LDi trim. Maruti Vitara Brezza is powered by the 1.3L 4-cylinder DDiS engine and soon the petrol variants are expected to launch with BS VI compliant 1.2L K12 engine.
