Maruti XL6 accessories list revealed.
Cosmetic additions present.
Upgrades for infotainment also part of the options list.
It hasn’t been too long since the Maruti Suzuki XL6 was launched, and now the accessories list has been revealed. The XL6 is placed as a premium product in Maruti Suzuki’s range – it retails from Nexa outlets – so the pricing of the accessories is also according to the product, with respect to the Ertiga, which caters to a more frugal audience.
The XL6 is available with only a single option as far as the engines are concerned, a 1.5-litre petrol engine, but one can choose between either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed torque converter automatic. There is no diesel option, and Maruti currently has no plans to add a diesel motor to the XL6 range, either.
On to the accessories, then – the exterior accessories spruce up the styling of the XL6. While it already has black cladding and flared wheel arches that give it a butch MPV look, one can also add trim along the lower door cladding, window line, and the lower lip of the number plate recess. Number plate garnish (Rs 750) and and a window frame kit (Rs 2850) are also available, as are door visors (Rs 3450) and a rear wing (Rs 4500). Throw in another Rs 400 and you’ll get a body-coloured wing instead of a black one.
Inside, you can opt for an interior styling package worth Rs 8200, which gives you, among other things, door handles that match the dashboard. Add another Rs 2400 for floor mats. The most interesting upgrade is the choice of upgrading the infotainment system – the standard unit has all the options one could need, but you can always upgrade it to the tune of Rs 15,000 – Rs 30,000.
The full range of the XL6’s accessories can be experienced at Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa website, where the online configurator lets you build an XL6 to your satisfaction.
