Maruti Suzuki has issued a voluntary recall program for the new Swift and the Baleno premium hatchback as well. The Indo-Japanese auto manufacturer has recalled a total of 52,686 units of the Swift and Baleno over a faulty brake vacuum hose issue. The particular models were manufactured between December 2017 and March 2018.
Maruti Suzuki’s authorized dealerships will start calling the affected customers to bring their car to the dealerships for inspection and replacement of the faulty part. The entire process would be done free of cost. The customers can also check online using the Maruti Suzuki microsite to learn if their vehicle is among the affected ones or not. The Baleno premium hatchback was launched back in October 2015 and it is sold through the brand’s premium retail network Nexa.
